First Senior Shoot of the Spring!!!

Last Sunday was a wonderful day!... The clouds parted after more than a week of dreary winter weather, the sun came out, my beloved Kentucky Wildcats advanced to the Sweet Sixteen in the NCAA Tournament and I had my first Senior Shoot of the season! I got to meet Alaina, a sweet and funny Lexington Christian Academy Senior and her wonderful Mother at Ashland. We had an enjoyable experience capturing the personality of this gorgeous girl...her casual and dressy attire were quite a contrast but definitely worked!

The Shy Family at BTD

It is such fun photographing people that I know and love. It is also fun to meet new people to photograph! I absolutely loved meeting the sweet Shy family!! The youngest Shy was the most fun...happy, handsome and oh so smiley! I met them at Buffalo Trace Distillery, one of the coolest places I know. The Angel's Share was in the air, as I had the best time capturing these three!

The Littlest Rupe Turns 1!

Little Miss Rupe turned 1 this month. I love how this sweet precious girl was the biggest surprise of her Mama's life. She is such a blessing and I love watching how she is such a Love Bug to her siblings. I have a feeling that she is going to have a few more surprises for us all before too long. Happy Birthday, little Love Bug!

EC is as cute as can bee!

This is the cutest little 1 year old with personality plus some!  I was so excited to get to spend a Saturday morning with her in her Grandmother's sun room to document the fact that she just turned 1!

Little Miss Lilly

Last Sunday, I had so much fun with Little Miss Lilly.  She is the cutest, sweetest little thing.  I love her blonde curly hair, blue eyes and adorable smile.  One of the things that I like most about her is that she laughs at my jokes.

Lilly has a BIG personality and every time I see her and cannot get over how she looks exactly like her Grandmother (my teacher friend Patty).  If ever a child resembles their Grandmother, Lilly absolutely does.

I love Fall in Lexington, Kentucky and I wish it would stay around a little longer than it does.  The colors at Ashland are beautiful right now.

Nick's Senior Shoot

Yesterday evening was quite exciting!...I got to spend time with Nick, his sweet Mom and precious Grandmother (who I used to teach with).  Nick is also my first Senior Boy to have the opportunity to photograph.  I have loved photographing the pretty girls, but I couldn't wait to photograph a handsome boy.

Nick is a fine young man and I had so much fun trying to capture his personality.  Even though, my excitement for taking his picture wasn't quite reciprocated...he was such a sport listening to me, my assistant, his mother and grandmother telling him how to pose.

I think we got some great shots of this handsome young man who is in his last year of high school. He will be off to college before you know it.

I love this barn at Keeneland!

He used to be Number 10...

Kyndall's Senior Shoot

A week ago today, I had the honor of photographing yet another stunning Senior.  Kyndall goes to Bath County High and lives in Winchester.  I can't say that I have ever been to downtown Winchester...until last Saturday night.  Can I say that I was very impressed with the quaint little town?  There were so many more interesting spots to shoot than we had time for.

Kyndall is a sweetheart and another long time friend of my cousin.  I love her personality and I especially love her style.  I didn't realize until I started editing her pictures that she changed her lipstick color with every outfit change...how cool is that?  She is a special girl who is thinking about Belmont University next fall, after she finishes a fabulous last year of high school.
